Topic: Self‑Doubt — When You Question Your Worth

A woman told me she had stepped into a new opportunity at work, but she immediately felt unqualified. No matter what action she took, she replayed every mistake and second‑guessed every decision.

Emotions

She felt anxious,
Inadequate.
She was afraid of failing.

Seek God’s Word over Self-Doubt

In her quiet time, she read:

For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.  II Timothy 1:7

She prayed and asked the Lord to replace her fear with His truth.

Personal Application

If self‑doubt has been whispering lies to your heart, let Scripture speak louder.

Journal

Where have you been doubting yourself? What truth from this verse can you pray?

Praying Scripture over Self-Doubt

Allow God’s Word to speak truth over this time of self-doubt and insecurity in your life.

Pray II Timothy 1:7  (or choose another one on your own) back to the Lord.  Ask Him to give you confidence and peace of mind.  Use your own words and speak directly to your Heavenly Father about your feeling of self-doubt.

Reflection

Later in the week, take a few minutes to reflect on how God has moved in the situation or in your heart? How has He answered your prayer?

P.S.  If you found another verse to pray for this topic, please share it in the comments for others to consider for their Praying Scriptures Journal also.
