Praying Scripture over Feeling Overwhelmed
Praying Scripture over Feeling Overwhelmed: Life can pile up quickly. Women today have so many responsibilities, emotions and expectations. Sometimes everything feels like too much.

Topic: Overwhelm — When Life Feels Too Heavy
A woman shared that her days were packed from morning to night. She felt like she was constantly running but never catching up. There was just no end to her busyness.
Emotions
She felt stretched thin.
Exhausted.
Emotionally drained.
Seek God’s Word
In a moment of quiet, she remembered a verse she had memorized years before:
“From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I.” Psalm 61:2
She prayed it slowly, letting God lift her perspective.
Personal Application
If you’re overwhelmed today, let Scripture lead you to higher ground.

What has been weighing heavily on you?
Praying Scripture over Feeling Overwhelmed
Allow God’s Word to speak truth over this time of busyness and overwhelm in your life.
Pray Psalm 61:2 (or choose another one on your own) back to the Lord. Ask Him to give you rest and peace of mind. Use your own words and speak directly to your Heavenly Father about your feeling of overwhelm.
Reflection
Later in the week, take a few minutes to reflect on how God has moved in the situation or in your heart? How has He answered your prayer?
P.S. If you found another verse to pray for this topic, please share it in the comments for others to consider for their Praying Scriptures Journal also.
