Praying Scripture over Making a Decision
Praying Scripture over Making a Decision: Sometimes the fear of choosing wrong can feel paralyzing.

Topic: Decision‑Making — When You’re Afraid of Getting It Wrong
A woman shared that she had been wrestling with a big decision. She had made lists and sought advice, but she still felt unsure about what her decision should be.
Emotions
She felt confused.
Fearful and uncertain.
Afraid of disappointing God.
Seek God’s Word
She opened her Bible and read:
Trust in the Lord with all your heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Proverbs 3:5–6
She prayed again and asked the Lord to direct her in making the decision.
Personal Application
If you’re facing a decision, trust God to guide you one step at a time.

Praying Scripture over Making a Decision
How can you pray this verse into your decision making? Invite God to make the answer to your decision clear. Pray over His words today. Allow God’s Word to speak over your uncertainty and draw you to the correct decision.
Pray
Proverbs 3: 5,6 (or choose another one on your own) back to the Lord. Ask Him to assure you that He will help you with the decision. Use your own words and speak directly to the Lord.
Reflection
Later in the week, take a few minutes to reflect on how God has moved in the situation or in your heart? How has He answered your prayer?
P.S. If you found another verse to pray for this topic, please share it in the comments for others to consider for their Praying Scriptures Journal also.
