Praying Scripture over Waiting
Praying Scripture over Waiting: Waiting stretches us in ways we never expect. It tests our patience, our trust, and our hope.

Topic: Waiting — When Answers Feel Delayed
A woman told me she had been praying for the same thing for months. Every day she hoped for a breakthrough. Every day she felt the ache of silence.
Emotions
She felt weary.
Restless.
Unsure if God was listening.
Seek God’s Word
One afternoon, she opened her Bible and her eyes fell on this verse:
“Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.” Psalm 27:14
She prayed, “Lord, strengthen my heart while I wait.”
Personal Application
If you’re in a season of waiting, you’re not forgotten. God strengthens those who wait on Him.
Journal
What are you waiting on God for?
Praying Scripture over Waiting
Allow God’s Word to speak truth over this time of waiting in your life.
Pray Psalm 27:14 (or choose another one on your own) back to the Lord. Ask Him to give your patience. Ask Him to help you trust Him for His answer in His time and in His way. Use your own words and speak directly to your Heavenly Father.
Reflection
Later in the week, take a few minutes to reflect on how God has moved in the situation or in your heart? How has He answered your prayer?
P.S. If you found another verse to pray for this topic, please share it in the comments for others to consider for their Praying Scriptures Journal also.
